Ionia, Ephesus, (390-330 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.09 grams), issue 340-325 B.C., obv. bee with straight wings dividing E - **F*, rev. forepart of kneeling stag to right, looking back, palm tree behind, to right magistrate's name **PUQAGORHS (Pythagoras), (cf.S.4372, Kinns CH IX, Class I [obv.157?], magistrate noted in Munsterberg, SNG von Aulock 1834). Off centred obverse, some surface roughness, otherwise fine/very fine and very rare.
