Ionia, Ephesos, (c.500-480 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (1.714 grams), silver drachm (3.250 grams), obv. bee, **E - F* across, curved wings, rev. quadripartite incuse square, (cf.S.4360, Karwiese Group VI Series 2A-14, 15ff [p.176 and Plate 4], cf.SNG Turkey 120, 124, Traite 1868, 1869). Very fine and rare. (2)
