Palestine, Roman Procurator of Judaea, Pontius Pilate (4), under Tiberius, (A.D. 26-36), copper prutah, obv. lituus surrounded by Greek inscription, rev. date within wreath but off flan (2), with clear years 17 (1) or 18 (1), = A.D.30-31), another of three ears of barley, rev. libation ladle, (S.5622, 5623, H.648-650 [113-5], AJC II Supplement V, No.21-24, Meshorer 229-231); another an issue of First Jewish Revolt, year 3 = 68-69, obv. amphora, rev. vine leaf (S.5640, H.664 [126], AJC 20 [p.261]). Several with dirt patina, otherwise very good - very fine. (5)
