Ceylon, Alstons, Scott & Co., Columbo (sic), in lead (1853) oval (29 mm x 20 mm) (Pr.2*) (2)*; A.A./3 Annas in brass (Pr.3); Baker & Hall, Polwatty Mills, uniface in pewter (Pr.8) (2); Bird, G., GB/blank in brass, full unit and half unit (Pr.9, 10*); Borron, A.G.K. in gilt brass (Pr.11)* similar in size but in tin (Pr.12), smaller in tin (Pr.13); Carey, Strachan & Co, Union Mills, Colombo/1 in bronze, struck in England in 1873 (Pr.14) (4). Fine - good extremely fine, a few rare. (14)

Ex W.J. Noble Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 61 (lot 1518) and previously the first ex J.G. Gartner Collection, the second, fourth and last ex Carnegie Museum of Natural History Collection (lot 878 part), the eleventh ex Coin Galleries in 1966, the third and twelfth from M.
