Bombay Presidency, Malabar Coast issues, c.1730-1796? Velli (or silver) Fanam or fifth rupees (3), similar to Bombay fifth rupees but cruder style, struck with Mumbai (Bombay) mint reading but issued for Tellichery Factory (Pr.295, KM.273), another struck at Calicut mint, 1799-1805, with A.H. 1214 (A.D. 1799), and T.99 on the obverse, rev. 'Struck at Tellichery (under) royal (tenure)', (Pr. 298, KM.276), another struck at Mumbai in 1805 for Tellichery Factory, obv. scales and T, date 1805 below, (Pr. 299), (KM.278). Very fine - extremely fine. (3)
