Group of Four: Military Medal (GVR); 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 4738 Gnr F.T. Barker 10/Bde Aust F.A. on first medal, 4738 Dvr F.T. Barker 3/F.A.Bde A.I.F. on second, third and fourth medals. All medals impressed. Very fine.

MM.: L.G.: 04Feb1918 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. On the 19th October 1917 whilst on the Ypres-Manin Road, in charge of ammunition urgently required at the Battery, a heavy barrage on the road and vicinity was encountered. Notwithstanding the heavy shell fire, Driver F.T. Barker by his own sterling service and example insured the delivery of the ammunition to his battery at a very critical time. His work has been excellent throughout the whole period of the recent operations'. Together with certified true copy of commendation.
