Anglo-Gallic, Aquitaine, Richard I, (1189-1199), silver denier, issued c.1174-1189, Aquitaine first type, obv. within circle, legend in two lines, RICA/ RDVS, rev. around cross pattee, AQAITANIE, (Elias 4a). Good fine and very rare.
Ex B.A. Seaby London with their ticket, acquired March 1985. Note the rare variety with the miss-spelled AQAITANIE
