Arab-Sassanian issues, silver hemidrachm of the Muslim successors of Tabaristan, by Arab Governor Umar with name in Arabic (PYE 120-129, A.H. 155-164, A.D. 771-780), year 128 (A.D. 779-780) (A.56, W.-, SNA Ash.416, Malek 79) (2 coins); another by Arab Governor Hani, (PYE 136-140, A.H. 171-175, A.D. 788-792), year 138 pellets either side of flame, (A.D.789-790), (A.69, W.294 [p.147, Pl.XXV,14], M.281, SNA Ash.442-3, Malek 114.12-.20); another by an anonymous Arab ruler, with 'Afzut (strong)' instead of governors name, (PYE 123-143, A.H. 158-178, A.D. 774-794), year 135, (A.D.786-7), stars before and after flame on reverse, (A.73, W.307 [p.156, Pl.XXVII, 2], SNA Ash.426-427, Malek 164.4-.6).
