Korea, Yi Dynasty, 'Sang P'Yong T'ong Bo' (Always even Currency), Treasury Department 'Hojo', 'Ho' above, issue of King Yi Chung (1850-1864), copper mun, issued 1852 bottom character 'Su' (water) to left furnace 8 [illustrated, a seed coin], (Mandel 13.51.8; KM.61.8s); similar issued 1852, bottom character 'Kwang' (honour), to left furnaces 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, (Mandel 13.52.1 -.9, KM.62.1-.9); similar bottom character 'Mun' (cash) to right furnace 1, (Mandel 13.54.1, KM.65.1); similar issues from 1832, to left furnaces 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, (Mandel 13.55.2-10, KM.66.2 -.10); similar issue of 1832, to left circle, to right furnaces 8, 10 [illustrated], (Mandel 13.56.8-.10, KM.68.8-.10); similar bottom character 'Ip' (to enter), issued 1806-1814 to right furnace 4, 7, (Mandel 13.58.4 &-.7, KM.70.4 &.7); similar issue of 1806-1814, to left furnace 1, 4, 5, 9, (Mandel 13.59.1-.9, KM.71.1-.9); similar to left circle, to right furnaces 1, 4, 7, 8, (Mandel 13.60.1-.8, KM.72.1-.8).
