China, Ch'ing Dynasty, Tai Ping Rebel coinage, rebel ruler Li Wenmao leaderr of the Guangdong Triad Society, issued from March 1857, 'Ping Jing tong pao' as four characters, with possible Zhong character on back, (A.D. 1851-1861), issued 1857-1858, diameter 25mm, (Sch.-, TFP 2691, Hartill 4.80). Very good, heavily encrusted and very rare.
