First is the standard work on this coinage of this series, providing a listing of all known published examples of the cistophoric coinage of Hadrian. The excavations at Curium lists 753 coins found on the site from Greek to Medieval period, important for the late Ptolemaic Egyptian material. The others are useful publication on Arabic coinage.
