Gordian III (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianii, Rome mint, issued 239, (4.108 grams), obv. radiate bust of Gordian III to right, around IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, rev. Aequitas standing to left, holding scales and cornucopiae, around AEQVITAS AVG, (S.8600, RIC 34, RSC 17), another similar, (4.408 grams), Rome mint issued 243-244, obv. around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. Fortuna seated left, holding rudder and cornucopiae, wheel below seat, around FORT REDVX, (S.8612, RIC 143, RSC 97). Good very fine - extremely fine. (2)
