Zeugitana, Carthage, (c.280-260 B.C.), silver half shekel or drachm, (3.446 grams), obv. head of Tanit to left, wreathed with corn, single pendant earring, dotted border, rev. horse standing to right looking back, (cf.S.6491, cf.Alexandropoulos 37 (two third shekel), cf.SNG Cop. 143 (two third shekel), M.110, Visona -). Lightly toned, crude flan, very fine and very rare.
This denomination noted by Muller et al but not present in major published collections.
