Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IX Soter and Cleopatra III, (116-106 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, Alexandria mint, struck year 2 = 116-115 B.C., (14.102 grams), obv. head of Ptolemy to right with aegis, rev. eagle to left on thunderbolt with closed wings, to left LB, to right **PA*, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU**, (S.7921, Sv.1660, SNG Cop.348, BMC 9-10). Dark tone with hoard patina, good very fine and very scarce.
With certificate from the American Numismatic Association Authentication Bureau No.AB 2750.
