Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-204 B.C.), AE 33 or hemidrachm, (35.44 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front cornucopiae, around **BASILEWS [PT]OLEMAIOU**, between legs **DI, (cf.S.7841, Sv. 1127, SNG Cop. 202, BMC 65, Koln 48, Pitchfork 56). Attractive good very fine.

The Koln editors attribute the issue to Ptolemy II, struck 253-249 B.C.
