Syria, Seleucis and Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem (Antioch), Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (12.134 grams), issued 214-217, obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around most of legend AYT K M A ANTWNEINO C CEB, rev. eagle standing facing, head to right, wreath in beak, between legs star above cornucopiae, around **DHMARC EX UPATO*C **TO D*, (cf.S.2649, Bellinger 37 [ANS Mum. Studies No.3, p.27, Pl.IV, 2]). Small flan as usual, good very fine portrait, scarce.
