Thrace, Island of, Thasos, (after 148 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.492 and 16.374 grams), obv. head of the young Dionysos wearing ivy wreath to right, rev. naked Herakles standing facing head to left, holding club and lion skin, around **HPAKLEOUS SWTHROS QASIWN*, to left in field M and second with monogram **HDTR*, (S.1759, BMC 72-73, 67-71, SNG Cop. 1049, 1046-1048). Slightly bent, othewise, fine or better. (2)
