Phoenicia-Samaria, local Athenian imitations (c.375-346 B.C.), silver obol, (0.544 grams), probably struck at Gaza, obv. head of Athena to right, countermarks on neck, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, to right downwards A **Q* E, (cf.S.2530, cf.SNG ANS (Palestine) 18-19, cf.Samaria Hoard No. 270ff.). Off centred obverse, on square flan, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
