Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-300 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, obv. head of nymph to left, herm standing behind, rev. man-headed bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right; **IS* below bull, exergue **[N]EOPOLITW[N]*, (cf.S.310, Sambon 515, SNG ANS 405-6, SNG Paris -). Toned, large flan and housed within an attractive silver wooden and felt frame, coin is very fine and very scarce type.
