Michael I and Theophylactus, (811-813), silver milliaresion, Constantinople mint, issued 811-813, (2.204 grams), obv. five lines of legend, within a triple circle of dots, MIXA/HL S **Q*EOFV/ LACTEECOS/ BASILIS RO/MAION, rev. cross potent on base with three steps, around IhSUS XRIS TUS NICA, (S.1616 [£100 VF], BMC 2-3, DOC 3, T.4). Slightly irregular shaped flan, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
