Constantius II, (A.D. 337- 361), gold solidus, issued 347-350, Antioch mint, (4.552 grams), obv. around FL IVL CONSTAN TIUS PERP AUG. rosette diademed draped and cuirassed bust to right, rev. around GLORIA REI PVBLICAE, VOT XX MULT XXX in shield, Roma and Constantinople enthroned facing, holding shield, in exergue SMANH, (S.3988; RIC 84 [R2]). Has been mounted, good very fine/very fine and rare.
