Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy I (323-283 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.022 grams), issued c.310-305 B.C., obv. head of Alexander wearing elephant headdress to right, rev. **ALEXANDROU* on left, Athena Alkidemos to right with spear and shield, KP monogram on right, helmet above eagle to right, (S.7750, Sv.164 [Pl.VI, 3), Zervos, The Alexander Mint of Egypt, Group 29 [p.130-2, SNG Cop.-, BMC 32). Two banker's marks on cheek, light grey tone, otherwise good very fine and rare.
