Macedon, Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.100 grams), Amphipolis III mint, issued c. 323/2-315 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, dotted border, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to right, sprig or branch of three twigs, below, **P* to right, above **FILIP POU*, (cf.S.6683, Le Rider Pl.46, 5, [Pl.46 similar dies], p.123], SNG ANS -, Troxell J6). Attractive round, toned, nearly very fine and rare.
