CHARLES I (1625-1649). Tower mint, under the King, 1625-42, type 1a, mm lis (1625) (S.2753). Attravtively toned good very fine and rare in this condition.
Ex Wigan, Neck, Webb, Lockett (4468) and J.G. Brooker (S.229) Collections, purchased privately from Spink Australia in February 1989.
