Valerian I, (A.D. 253-260), AE sestertius, Rome mint, (17.602 grams), obv. laureate bust of Valerian to right, around legend IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS P F AVG, rev. Liberalitas standing to left, holding cornucopiae and tessera, LIBERALITAS AVGG around, S C across field, (S.2911, RIC 164, C.110). Squarish flan, brown/green patina, light obverse smoothing, otherwise very fine.
