Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE); Distinguished Service Cross (1944); 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star (France and Germany); British War Medal 1939-45; Naval General Service Medal 1915 - two bars - S.E.Asia 1945-46, Minesweeping 1945-51 (Ty.A/Lt. Cdr.(Sr) J.A.B.Harrisson. D.S.C. R.N.V.R.). Last medals only named, impressed, others unnamed. Generally very fine or better.

MBE: London Gazette 1 January 1951. Awarded in recognition of his services in training cadets at the Akbar Nautical Training College, Heswell Cheshire.
DSC: London Gazette 9 May 1944. 'For enterprise and skill while minesweeping whilst in command of HM MMS 272.'
