Arcot, in the name of Muhammad Shah (A.H.1131-1161, A.D. 1719-1748), uncertain mint, silver fanon (fifth rupee), year 1X (cf.KM 50-1), various copper issues described on 2 x 2 packets, falus, Arcot (Arkat) mint, year 8 (A.H. 1107) under Aurangzeb, another half falus (Biddulph JNSI 1962, Nos. 3 and 5), Muhammad Ali (A.H. 1165-1209, A.D. 1751-1795) half paisa 1205, another 120X, another year 34 (1207), (KM.9), paisa, Kadapa mint year [11]75, (KM.19), Madras-Tiruvallur mint half paisa 1213 year 39 (1798-9), (KM.57), other cash from Carnatic Nawabs of 18th century Madura mint (cf. M.1173-6), Tanjore mint (cf.M.1373). An interesting group, fine to very fine some rare a few unpublished. (10)
