Edward III (1327-1377), gold quarter noble, Transitional Treaty period, issued 1361-1363, saltire stops in legend, London mint, mm. cross potent, annulets in angles and pellet in centre on reverse, (S.1501, N.1224, Schneider SCBI 47 No.72). Very fine and rare.
