Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II Philadelphus, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.32 grams), Tyre mint in Phoenicia, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, around BASILEWS [PTOLEMAIOU], in field to left monogram of TYR over upright club, (cf.S.7773; Sv. 644; SNG Cop. 482-3). Short on flan on reverse, otherwise good very fine.
