Eadgar, (959-975), silver penny, two line type, 'York' group mint, obv. small cross in centre, around E.ADGAR.REX, rev. ADELA//VER MO in two lines, three small crosses in centre, trefoils top and bottom, (Moneyer Adelverd), (S.1129, N.741). Very minor chip at 12.00 on edge, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
