Edward the Elder, (899-924), silver penny, portrait type, London mint, obv. bust to left within centre, around EADVVEARD REX, rev. GRIMV// ALD MO in two lines, divided by three crosses and trefoil of pellets above and below, moneyer Grimvald, (S.1084, N.651, CTCE 26-7). Toned, good very fine and very rare.
