JUSTIN II, (A.D. 565-578), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, obv. Justin II bust to right, with diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, around dN IVSTI NVS PP AVI, rev. Victory advancing to right holding wreath and cross on globe, star in right field, around VICTORIA AVGVSTORVI, in exergue CONOB, (S.353, DO 14, R.765, BMC 24ff). Ragged edge, with surface and edge flaw, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
