Tacitus, (A.D. 275-276), Rome mint, (3.404 grams), obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right, around IMP C M CL TACITVS AVG, rev. Mars standing left, resting on shield, holding olive branch and spear, around CLEMENTIA TEMP, in exrgue XXIZ, (cf.S.3301, RIC 83, C.15). Extremely fine with original silvering.
