Gordian III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued 242, (4.136 grams), obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. P M TR P IIII COS II P P around, Apollo seated to left, holding branch, arm on lyre, (S.2452, RIC 88, RSC 250). Brilliant, nearly uncirculated.
