Antoninius Pius, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 149, (2.694 grams), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XII, laureate head to right, rev. COS IIII, Annona standing left before modius filled with corn ears, holding two corn-ears and anchor, (cf.S.4067, RIC 175, RSC 284); another similar ((3.284 grams), rev. Fortuna standing left, holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.-, RIC 179, RSC 263); another similar, (3.154 grams), issued 148, rev. Antoninus veiled standing left with patera and tripod alter, (S.4076, RIC 183, RSC 304). All lightly toned, very fine. (3)
