Nerva, (A.D. 96-98), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 97, (2.898 grams), obv. laureate head of Nerva to right, around IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR POT, rev. around COS III PATER PATRIAE, sacrificial implements, simpulum, sprinkler, ewer and lituus, (S.3023, RIC 24, RSC 48); together with Domitian as Caesar under Titus, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, issued A.D. 79, Rome mint, (3.094 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian around, CAESAR DIVI F DOMITIANVS COS VII, rev. garland and lighted altar, around PRINCEPS IVVENTVTIS, (S.2676, RIC T46, RSC 397). Nearly very fine; nearly fine, first scarce. (2)
