Crispus (as Caesar), (A.D. 317-326), AE follis, issued 318 as Caesar, London mint, (3.320 grams), obv. laureate and cuirassed bust to right, Crispus, around CRISPVS NOB CAES, rev. Sol standing left holding globe, around SOL INVICTO COMITI, in exergue PLN, crescent in left field, (S.3925, RIC 144 [R2]); another similar, issued 321-2, (2.960 grams), obv. helmeted cuirassed bust to right, around CRISPVS NOB CAES, rev, globe on altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX, around BEATA TRAN QVILLITAS, PLON in exergue, (S.3916, RIC 235 [R4]); another similar, (3.336 grams), obv. similar bust laureate to left with shield and spear, around CRISPV S NOBIL C, rev. as before, with additional letters at side F B, (cf.S.3916, RIC 250). Very fine - extremely fine, second very rare. (3)
