Bactria, Kingdom of, Eucradides I, (171-135 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.298 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust of Eucratides to right all within dotted border, rev. the Dioscouroi on horseback to right holding spears and palms, monogram of **FL* to right, below in exergue **EUKRATIDOU, above **BASILEWS, (S.7568, SNG ANS 432, Bopearachchi Series 1D). Bright, tooled with surface porosity, otherwise good very fine in high relief, a rare variant.
