Group of Three: Distinguished Service Order (GVR); British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 with M.I.D. Major M.H. A'Beckett A.I.F. on second and third medals. Impressed. Extremely fine.

C.G.:No.150 24Sep1918 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty when in charge of a battalion which relieved the attacking troops. He personally carried out a most valuable reconnaisance under most dangerous conditions, clearing up an obscure situation, and then established a very strong system of posts as a front line of defence.
