Sassanian King, Yazdgard II, (A.D. 438-457), silver drachm, probably Nihavand mint, (3.574 grams), obv. bust to right with crown, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar, (Sellwood 47, Gobl 165, cf.M.968). Well centred, very fine, very scarce.
