Sassanian King, Shapur I, (240-270), silver drachm, (4.004 grams), obv. bust to right with crown, rev. fire altar with attendants, plain shaft no dots below altar, (cf.Sellwood Plate I, No.12, cf.Gobl 32, Paruck 79, cf.M.811-819). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.
