Sicily, Acragas (Agrigentum), (c.500-480 B.C.), silver didrachm, Jenkins Group IV, (7.292 grams), obv. eagle with closed wings standing to left, AKR[A] behind, rev. crab with large legs on flat field, (cf.S.709, SNG Cop.40 [Pl.1]. SNG ANS 922 [same dies]). Worn and somewhat light in weight, good silver, fine/nearly very fine and a rare type.
