Burma, Kingdom of the Dvaravati, Mon Confederate cities of the Lower Menam valley in South Burma, type I, (A.D. 400-500), silver half unit, (2.9 grams, 22mm), obv. sankh shell symbol with ring of dots border, rev. Temple with thunderbolt inside and dots below, (Mitchiner H&C of SE Asia 478-486 but finer style, cf.Robinson & Shaw 3.10, cf.Mitchiner ACW 5207, cf.M.2580). Very fine, very rare.
