Opal brooch, one 9crt light rose gold and opal original bar brooch, bezel set with one oval cabochon cut solid dark crystal opal, translucent to transparent with bright green-orange play of colour, in small angular blocks with even pattern, with 2 knife edge bars and ball spacers on a pin, hook and safety chain fitting. Weight 7.7 grams, (opal estimated as 6.90 ct, measuring 22.2 x 11.5 x 4.75mm), all housed in Stewart Dawson & Co (Australia) blue felt and silk lined box.
