Palestine, Judaea, King Agrippa II under Vespasian, (A.D. 56 [50] - 95), copper as?, AE 22, (11.830 grams), Provincial coinage acknowledging Roman Rule, probably struck at Caesarea Paneas, issued year 14 = A.D. 73-4, obv. laureate head to right of Vespasian, around AYTOKP [OYEC**P* K]AICAP CEB, starting upper right, rev. Nike advancing to right, palm over shoulder, holding wreath, across [L]I**D* BACI/ **[A]GRI P*OY, (S.5583, AJC II 10 [p.251, Pl.11], H.591 [$750 US], RPC 2248, SNG ANS 286). Good fine/very fine and very rare.

An important issue in better than average condition of this king of Judaea.
