Phoenicia, Sidon, king Abdeshmun (c.425 B.C.), silver half-sequel, (7.12 grams), obv. war galley travelling to left with mast and partially furled sail, over two lines of waves, rev. King of Persia wearing crown with quiver, shooting bow to left, head of goat incuse below [off flan], all within in incuse square, (S.5928 [noted as a shekel] [£900], Bet 4 [ANSMN 21, p.14, Pl.II,4], Kraay 1055, BMC 2 [p.139], Betylon 4 [p.5, Pl.1, 4]). Off centred reverse, very fine or better and very rare.
