Henry III, (1216-1272), sterling silver imitation penny, long cross issue, imitating class 3, (0.74 grams), issued post 1250, copying an uncertain penny very degraded and blundered legend, obv.--HI+IIL - II+ II, rev. &CO/VIII/HI/VHO, (cf.S.1363, BNJ 1966 (p.89) J.J. North No.50, Pl.6 [This Coin], Westfalische Auktion lot No.68 [This Coin]). Toned, nearly very fine and rare.
