Palestine, Roman Procurator of Judaea, Marcus Ambibulus under Augustus, (A.D. 9-12), copper prutah, (2.448 grams), obv. ear of barley surrounded by Greek inscription, KAICAPOC, rev. eight branched palm tree, across L M = year 40 = A.D. 10, (S.5608, H.637 [102], AJC II Supplement V, No.4, Meshorer 218). Very fine with a clear legend and date reading.
