Nero, (A.D. 54-68), Paduan cast medal, after Giovanni Cavino, (20.2 grams), obv. laureate head of emperor Nero to right, around NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P, rev. Roma seated to right, below in exergue ROMA, S C across, (Lawrence -, cf.Klawans 9, [p.48]). Of good style, good very fine, a rare reverse, type not recorded in major literature.
