REPUBLIC, L. Fabius L.f. Hispaniensis, (c.82-1 B.C.), silver denarius, moving mint in North Italy and Spain, obv. around C. ANNI. T. F. T. N. PRO. COS. EX SC, diademed bust of Annia Perenna to right, with caduceus behind and scales before bust, rev. Victory in galloping quadriga to right, Q above, in exergue L. FABI. L. F. HISP, all within dotted circles, (S.-, Cr.366/1a, Syd.748). Weak in places with attractive blue and grey tone on the obverse and golden tone with some original mint bloom on the reverse, extremely fine and rare.

With old French early 20th century ticket.
